Earlier this Summer I managed to take some time out and spend 5 days shooting time lapses in the South Island of New Zealand.
I travelled to the Ashburton Lakes area and filmed on Mt Sunday, the location of Edoras. I then made my way up towards Arthurs Pass capturing the raw landscape as I went.
For the most part the weather played nice in the short time frame I had. Time lapse work is most definitely a patience game but highly rewarding. I could spend weeks shooting and exploring such incredible scenery which I most definitely plan on doing.
I shot using Canon cameras and lenses as well as the Kessler Crane Pocket Dolly which worked flawlessly.
One of a series of fun shoots I did for Big Little City Christmas.
The new Gemma Copas video is now out in the wild. As usual, beautifully put together by the crew at Carte Blanche & Co.
I recently shot a couple of BMW’s for Top Gear mag, namely the 118i and the 650i. We took to the streets at night and let them shine.

Just wrapped another music video shoot which I was DOP on for Gemma Copas. Here are a couple of sneaky pics from the shoot.

Music video I shot for Luger Boa called Paralyzed.
I lit mostly with Kobold Fluros and used Red Heads to light the green screen shots.
The intensive post was done by Johnny Lion who also directed. Produced by Carte Blanche & Co.

While revelers were still celebrating the final of the Rugby World Cup I hit the road with official sponsors Land Rover and embarked on a drive around the New Zealand countryside.

Clothing label Maaike approached us wanting a video to launch their Summer range. This is what we came up with.

The latest issue of Top Gear NZ features a shoot we did of Jeffery Deaver - Author of the latest James Bond novel Carte Blanche. He was chosen by Ian Fleming’s estate to officially carry on the 007 legacy.
In true Bond style we set him up with the original James Bond car of choice, Bentley.
